Bernadette Flynn is the 23-year-old daughter of New York mayor Eamon Flynn, and lives with him in Gracie Mansion. She was good friends with 23-year-old heiress Allison Hawkins, who was murdered shortly after Bernadette brought her home from the New Year's Eve party they had attended together.
