• My all time favourite — for Dune

  My all time favourite movie.
  The visual effects of the movie are very good for a film of that time.
  The typical characters make the film very enjoyable.
  You have to like science fiction off course and it is an old movie, so the pase is not that fast, but it kept my attention through the whole movie.
  Some plots are very obvious soon in the movie, but the way it evolves, makes it not that predictable.

• Where does the snow come from? — for Edward Scissorhands

  one of the best fantasy movies ever made.
  Johnny depp is just awesome.
  and the contrast between the colourfull village and the black and white castle is magnificently done.

• nostalgia — for Beetle Juice

  I knew the computer game before the movie. It is a very simple game and quite anoying, but nevertheless, we enjoyed it.
  When I saw the movie some years later, I was very surprised to see how much more fantasy is there is in the movie.
  It is funny how they worked the whole what happenes when you die thing out.
  All the reallife decors for the maquette-scenes are just great.
  The most entertaining though, I found the scary parts, that where made acceptable for children, but still a little scary.
  And as a surplus, I like Harry Bellafonte's music very much.

• maybe one of his best — for 50 First Dates

  I've seen a lot of Adam Sandlers movies and I think this one can be the best one so far.
  Mostly I don't watch movies more than ones, but I just loved the jokes, the compassion they create, his assistent and Ula is so good... I watched it about a 5 times so far.
  If you like to watch intellectuel movies though, please let this one pass, it's really a movie for a relaxing evening.
