Boris Goosinov is a Russian snow goose with a bit of a temper, who is Balto's closest friend and confidant. He often tries to make Balto understand that he should not be ashamed of himself and his wolf heritage; that he is much more than that what the dogs and humans in Nome have made him out to be.
