The Silence of the Lambs (1991)

Pure Psychopath — Written by Tienlee on 20.11.2012

"Silence of the Lambs" by Thomas Harris has been widely recognized as one the most magnificent psychological thrillers of late 20th century.

A freaky murderer abducts young ladies, skins them and eventually throws their bodies into rivers. Young FBI agent, Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster) is appointed to investigate the case. Her superiors believe that other murderer, Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins), will know more about the wanted psycho, which is why they send young agent Starling to interview him.

"Silence of the Lambs" is in fact a journey to the core of murderer’s soul; a soul of a psycho, transvestite and madman. This journey is intriguing indeed. It keeps the spectator in suspension until the very end. Feast of acting skills, terrific script, thrilling soundtrack, and a unique intelligent arrangement of the whole make me mark the movie 10 for 10.
