Abstract

The marchioness of Botarin exchanges passionate letters with Jean, who doesn't know is thatshe is twice as old as he thinks, for she has sent a photo of her young niece Jacqueline. Things get worse when Jean turns up at the Botarin manor and immediately falls under the spell of Jacqueline.
