In the south of US, the wife of the local black undertaker has a relation with a racist white cop. She hires a lawyer for the divorce but the cop don't want any scandal and threatens her. The undertaker goes to the local lawyer for help but the later doublecrosses him to avoid scandal too and warns the cop. Then things go wrong...
