Abstract
On August 11, 1999, the inhabitants of Vattetot-sur-mer, a small village in Seine-Maritime, are preparing for the event announced with drums and trumpets for weeks: the total solar eclipse. The town, ideally placed, will be the meeting place for all those curious about the region.
