Abstract
Céline,a free-spirited young woman meets Philippe Aignan, a rich businessman. Against all odds, in love, she marries him. She quickly gets bored of a bourgeois lifestyle. She meets Julia and they consider writing a book about sexual liberation when Julia dies.
