Le comte de Monte Cristo, 1ère époque: Edmond Dantès(1943)
Abstract
Edmond Dantes is falsely accused and is sentenced to life in the island prison, Chateau d'If. There, he meets Abbe Faria, a prisoner who tells him of a hidden treasure. After years in prison, the old Abbe dies, and Edmond escapes disguised as the dead body. Now free, Edmond must find the treasure to take a revenge.
