Black Angel(1946)
Abstract
When famous singer Mavis Marlowe is murdered in her apartment her lover Kirk Bennett is convicted for the crime and sentenced to death. Bennett's wife tries to clear her husband and her first suspicion falls on Marlowe's ex-husband, a drunk named Martin Blair.
