The movie, directed by the firstling director Drew Goddard is a cliche compilation.
While watching the movie you can see topic from almost every other horror movie, until the moment: monsters, conspirations, zombies... Some are even specific wink to other movies, such as The Shining or Hellraiser.
Even the protagonist are the usual protagonists for such movies: the stupid blonde, the nice looking and intelligent football player and so on.
I usually don't like the movies where cliches appear so clearly, but in this movie it is the main point. And because everything is appearing, you never know which one will be the next one. That makes it interesting.
I was in the beginning reluctant to watch this movie, but it was not the disappointment I expected it to be. I wouldn't say the movie is good, but I think is a movie to bee seen twice, in case you missed some winck. You have to be careful to see all the details, since there are so many.
I would rate it as an average horror movie in the whole scale, and a good one in recent horror movies for young people.

If you like those kind of crappy 60's movies, this is the one. It has cheap spacecrafts and martians. And even an amazing looking robot (it's chest looks like a face).
I have to say that I saw this movie dubbed in spanish, and even this was cheap. So cheap that some sentences were still in english.
The story is one on the funniest I've seen, even if I don't think (I can't know it for sure) that it was the main point of the movie. The martians kidnap two terrestrial kids, who keep the christmas spirit for Santa. So what to do? Kidnap Santa for themselves, and be as happy as terrestrials.
The movie is meant to make your own christmas spirit grow, to make you feel good about what you have. Maybe to make you feel that technology isn't everything, but I saw this movie 45 years later is was recorded, so maybe I'm wrong.
Anyway, it is an amazing film to see how the movies where made with not a lot of money and without computers help. There's also one of the best jokes I've ever heard:
"What’s soft and round and you can toast it in a griddle and it’s also green?"
Just watch the movie for the answer!!

This is movie about nazis living in the sea. What else can be said? It is the kind of movie you can see while doing other things, that doesn't need your attention to understand what's going on.
The movie starts with a girl being rescued from a boat in the middle of the sea by a couple of fishermen, and the it changes to another story, being this the story of some people in a little cruise boat.
There is no sight of the nazi submarine zombies until some troubles makes them sink in an apparently desert island.
Then's when the good things start.
Even though it has everything needed to be a great shabby movie (made in the late 70's, nazis -zombie nazis-, the pretty guy and the unresolved sexual tension with the good looking girl...) it was not as good as I expected it to be. Don't misunderstand me, i liked it, because i love this kind of crappy movies, but the living dead nazis weren't as violent as I would be if I would have been living in the ocean for the last years. I think.
So I would say it is a good movie if you and your friends like this 70's movies and you have nothing else to do. And you can play cards while the movie goes in the back.

“Killer klowns from outer space”. All you need to know about the movie is there. The movie is about some killer clowns from outer space. Of course. No dissapointments. The clowns are just great in their costumes and they even have a circus spaceship. It is a movie about the classical circus clowns (with their water spitting flowers, all the popcorn and candies, colorful costumes...), only came in a circus tent-spaceship, that instead of making laugh the spectators, they laugh when killing innocent humans. Evil clowns.
The best thing of the movie is how they keep the bodies. Well, no. I love their special clown guns.
They even have a great soundtrack. You can check it here, but in case you don’t want to see any movie scene before you watch the movie, DON’T watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGVX033PiDA
