Belgian cinema makes me laugh. Firstly the accent that reminded me "Dikkeneck". Secondly because it is something touching, unexplored. A need to represent reality pronounced. Here, we are a desire to make the cinema as a medium able to translate to the screen a life which we are ashamed. Poetic, the film will be the story of this young boy, catches up by destiny, remembers her childhood designing the first problems of his life.
The sequences tinted in black and white plunged me into a flashback, a nostalgia for freedom, childhood and unconsciousness. A neutral point of view, so generally, from the director, which can take advantage of this fable without wondering if the weight of the structure familliale catch us one day too.
