This movie may pass by a "nonsense freak" for those who don't pay attention, but who watch closely will see that it contains an extremely intelligent plot - criticizing the humanity and proposing the question "what's the answer of universe, live and everything", through the answer itself is more confusing than the question, making you doubt that all that really have a meaning.
The graphics and the color schemes are blinding and make some scenes very dynamic.
However, all this geniality comes from a book (same title, writen by Douglas Adams), and it wasn't the best adaptation it could be. The history goes too fast and you may loose some details.
