"The Incredible Hulk" the title makes a real fan of comics shiver. When I was going to the cinema I did not know what to expect. I assumed that a new filming might appear a disaster.
Special effects... nothing to criticize here. If you are fond of "the green monster" the moment when Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) changes into Hulk or when Hulk tosses a heavy truck like a ping pong ball does not kill you but you will feel excitement similar to what you feel when you read the comic.
"Green Bruce Banner" is quite a complicated character. On one hand he represents a huge power appearing in the moments of the highest tension. The power of his green muscles desires to destroy everything. On the other hand he is an ambitious scientist who tries to get rid of the curse of gamma rays. There must have appeared Bruce's love - Elizabeth Ross (Liv Tyler) who, as the only one, makes him calm. In fact she is the only person Banner recognizes after his big change, but I am sure you remember it from the comics.
You will find in the film everything that the film of action needs: although the beginning does not suggests it much happens in the film. I can recommend it to all fans of comics but not only. If you look for an action film, huge explosions and destruction the film is for you.
