This is one of the greats, All about eve portrays a girl wanting to make it on stage in the footsteps of her idol who befriends her (bette davis) and all is well with her life until her idol suspects shes is studying her to copy her talents which have taken her where she herself yearns to travel to, I shall say no more about the plot as I dont want to give too much away but i will say that this is a great film with a tremendous ending which nobody would have anticipated. this film is also the debut of Americas Sweetheart Marilyn Monroe. so in the words of miss Bette Davis herself "Fasten your seatbelts it's going to be a bumpy night"
