Intense is the right word to describe this movie. The characters are full of emotion. And you can feel that emotion, altough the characters are quite fictitious. That offcourse has everything to do with the fact that real people act in this movie, but still they look like characters from a graphic novel. Frank Miller created Sin City that way.
The black and white with occasional collering works realy well.
I am a big Robert Rodriquez fan. His movies always have all the ingrediënts of top entertainment:
-violence
-sex
-horror
-humour
Hopefully the sequel will be as intense as the first part.
