The scientist André Delambre made a sensational detection in his laboratory. Powered by his own success, he gets careless and a made a mistake, with horrible outcome for himself and his family...

In this movie from Kurt Neumann, made in 1958 with stars like the distinctive Vincent Price, David Hedison (as André Delambre) and the beautiful Patricia Owens, has been a very interessting theme regrounded. In a time, when telephones had dial plates, electricity and technical revolution frightens people, the Invention of Mr. Delambre is amazing.
But, when you try to figure out, gods plan of living, you have to be very careful and so, in the movie, the DNA of André and a fly get mixed in his transformator. The half human, half fly monster looks great! But not even the mask of the fly head and arm is great, the sounds when the monster slurps his dinner is fantastic for the viewer. You know what is happening, but you get shivers, while thinking about it!
The monster dies and at the end the brother of André and the detective found the other part of the experiment. The fly with a human head, captured in a spiderweb and the spider ends this story...
