Abstract
In 1787, after a duel, Jean-Francois de La Plaine is exiled on the coast of Africa as governor of a tiny colony. This story tells the itinerary of this man of the eighteenth century has its own revolution confronts the margins of history. He will be confronted with prejudices, racism and will naturally praise of the difference.
