Abstract

Following impressions of the 18-month trip made by François Reichenbach in the United States in August 1958. The author shows - carnival in New Orleans, far-west riders, rodeo scenes, cheerleaders, school striptease, images of "black jackets", museums, congresses of twins, ... etc ... - not the everyday life of the American citizens..
