Hobson's Choice(1954)
Abstract
When a widowed shoemaker decides his three daughters aren't allowed to marry to the payment of marriage settlements, the eldest of his daughters rebells. She decides to marry the shy and humble bootmaker Willie Mossop and build up an existence on her own.
