When I saw this movie I wasn't expecting an awful lot of it. It wasn't a Hollywood-blockbuster so it managed to stay away from all the popular reviews. But boy, was I in for a surprise!
I won't go in depth or I'll spoil the movie for you. Die welle shows a class full of different high-school students in Germany. You can immediately recognise your average class and that's one of the strongest points of the movie, you can recognise everyday life in it.
The result is a terrific movie with a thrilling ending, which, again, could be very recognisable for todays society. I enjoyed this movie and would surely recommend it to everyone.... in fact, I have recommended it to a lot of people already!
