Pierre is an amnesic recovering from a car accident. He can't remember anything about the accident and his past life as a wealthy businessman. He is being nursed by his wife, Christiane, the family doctor and his manservant. Paranoia rapidly sets in as he begins to suspect Christiane is not his wife and that he is the victim of a sinister plot.
