Áurea's journey starts in 1910, when, searching for a dream was never hers, leaves in a caravan to an endless sand maze in the northern part of Brasil. Searching for lands her husband thinks prosperous, she finds herself condemned to life in an inhospitable place, having her mother as only female company. Dissatisfied with her fate and waiting for a child, she looks for every way out, but time changes little by little this story pontuated by feelings that go from despair to plenitude.
