la jolie garagiste = impact
merci pour ton favs, aurore
ca va? :)
ton shots sur le vault c'est tres jolie.
Je prefere crossfades plus que split-screens.
:)
Bravo ? Pour la 117123 ? Trop facileeeee, le splitscreen c'est ma passion ;-)
@austintower I couldn't think of any other crossfades/dissolves. Most don't stick out in my mind.
There's a large number of split screens, but I really was more interested in the dissolves, so I didn't upload a second or 3rd.
Crossfades I never tried but I can start.
About the other kind of shot (I think it is split screen or something similar I already uploaded one that was accepted. http://whatthemovie.com/shot/208981
If so, I can try on both cases.
fabrizio, this is simple, the montage effects are transition effects made in the movie, you don't have to do anything on the shot, it has been made by the editor/director. Examples of splitscreens : http://whatthemovie.com/search?t=tag&q=split+screen
Examples of crossfades : http://whatthemovie.com/search?t=tag&q=crossfade
Hope it helps,
Cheers
Hello,
Uploaders seem to have a hard time cropping the split-screen sequences from this movie, which is quite understandable, considering the weird choices made by the DVD studio. It's unfortunate, but it's no big deal, actually. That's why, in this case, we let it slide until we're 100% sure of how it should be fixed.
Thanks for the two songs, fabrizio. I liked the recent one and also the last one you sent couple a weeks ago. Both very relaxing to listen to and I enjoyed them very much. :)
I suggested tattoos because I noticed I got some tattoo shots in my folder which I never used for uploading before, so I thought a contest about tattoos could be a nice chance to use them. Well but now we have other nice themes which I also love very much. I personally hope for the Montage contest, because that was my favourite theme anyway (which I also voted for now). What I dont like is that they now made the split-screens together with crossfades since both are two very different themes I think. Split-screens are a lot easier to do for an uploader in my opinion and less challenging than a well-done crossfade shot. So probably I also will vote lower on the split-screen shots in case this theme makes it at the end.
My second pick would have been underwater I think.
For which theme you will give your vote to? :)
About the movie...I dont think it would be a movie for me (the plot sounds a bit too stupid for me when I'm honest). :)
Thanks four your shout. Yes, this effect is less common and a bit dated now, so I thought it was interrsting to post one... The other was interesting because each angles of the central picture, rolls to the center to reveal other scenes... I had nerver seen something like that before... A roll-split-screen... The last one is a classic fade shot between three pictures...
You're right, #214162 it's simply incredible and it's just a shot, not the entire sequence in motion... Brilliant choice! I also wanted to add some unusual and dated "montage effect" like a "heart wipe", a "star wipe" or a "matrix wipe" but couldn't remember one in my dvd collection. Obviously, most people chose "crossfades" or "split screens", easier to find and usually more beautiful to see. Also, not many "iris wipes" or "fade outs" and "fade ins", lol :)
Und hast du was gekauft?
i still think when the shot is placed in the contest vault people will try and find the reason why it's supposed to be there. doing that they'll probably (or not) see the brushed away section of the shot. making it a shot with a bit more depth instead of being "just" a split screen/cross-fade.
next to that i also see the point you are making. so i'll accept the ruling. i can't escape the fact that: "you are the law". ;) thanks!
