Superman is the very popular and successful superhero film starring Superman and based on the popular DC comic character. The film stars Christopher Reeve as Superman, Marlon Brando as Jor-El, and Gene Hackman as Lex Luther Superman's nemesis. The film was followed by three more Superman movies.
