One still out of The Archive, the same for every player, every day. Six guesses at the film — movie or series — and a new board at midnight UTC.
The game type rotates through the week: a zoom that widens, a curtain opening sideways or downward, a new still of the same movie with every miss, a line drawing coming into focus, a wall losing bricks, a whole board of stills at once, the movie's character portraits. The badge above the board names the day's type and says what a miss does.
Each miss except the last reveals the next one, in order: year, language, genres, tagline, director, lead actor, then the title's initials — a rung the film lacks is skipped. They cost nothing: not to unlock, and not off what solving pays.
How the film you named compares to the answer: same decade, a shared genre, the same director, the same language — plus any words its title shares with the real one.
The normal Archive rate: two points a solve, hints or no hints. A day you don't finish costs nothing.
