Ivan Bibic returns to his Pittsburgh home after surviving a Japanese POW camp. All the time he remained faithfully devoted to his childhood love, fellow ethnic Yugoslavian virgin Maria Bosic. She dates him again and they get married. But Ivan becomes impotent and feels unworthy of her. Meanwhile guitar player Clarence Butts seduces Maria.
