Wikipedia says, that "serendipity is a propensity for making fortuitous discoveries while looking for something unrelated."
This is what this movie is about: two people accidently meet, spend some time together, fall in love and... seperate. They are meant to be together, but they don't know it yet.
So many years later they are both in serious relationships, but destiny has its own plan. Sara decides to find that guy whom she met at the mall years ago...
Is true love patient? Will they finally find each other again?
A lovely, warm movie with wonderful actors, I'd say: a masterpiece!

One of the funniest and most clever Polish movies of all time.
(spoiler allert!)
In 1991 two men, Max and Albert, voluntarily submit to an epochol experiment - hibernation. They wake up in 2044 with no knowledge about what have happened while they were asleep.
They find themselves in an odd situation - the world is dominated by women, there are no men what-so-ever, and they live under the ground. It occurs that all men died in a nuclear war...
It may be a wish come true for an ordinary man, but not for Max and Albert. They stay under observation by women, who consider men as enemies and a specific mistake of Mother Nature.
Max and Albert decide to escape. Two women - Lamia and Emma - follow them and discover, that there is a better world - with birds, grass, sun and food.
Now Max and Albert have a really tough mission to acomplish - bring men genes back to Earth. -
This movie is amazing. Paradoxically, it's not about a transformation or metamorphosis of the protagonist - Brute. It shows, that through the prism of his bad deeds this man has feelings too - and they are good feelings. This "evil" man knows mercy - and finds himself lost, seeing the injustice of fate. Forced labor in an orphanage in Romania becomes a salutary for Brute. Ilana is his redemption, repentance, and sadly because of evil deeds of other people - she must die. Injustice pushes Brute to commit a crime and leave the shelter. But he will not leave alone.
The film is beautiful. It causes grief, sorrow, sadness, but also causes a sigh of relief. It shows how bad it can get, especially in shelters which are forgotten by God, some place in the world. I was outraged, watching this movie while sitting in a safe house, in a comfortable chair, feeling relaxed. It's not fair.
But this movie gives hope. And, by the way, Ilana's dance compensates all the unpleasant moments. It's worth to watch this deep, moving image.
Not mentioning the great Til Schweiger, whom you all should know from Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds". Young, strong and bad - girls should really appreciate him in this 1997 picture ;)
