• One of the best movies of the last few years — for Die Welle

  When I saw this movie I wasn't expecting an awful lot of it. It wasn't a Hollywood-blockbuster so it managed to stay away from all the popular reviews. But boy, was I in for a surprise!

  I won't go in depth or I'll spoil the movie for you. Die welle shows a class full of different high-school students in Germany. You can immediately recognise your average class and that's one of the strongest points of the movie, you can recognise everyday life in it.

  The result is a terrific movie with a thrilling ending, which, again, could be very recognisable for todays society. I enjoyed this movie and would surely recommend it to everyone.... in fact, I have recommended it to a lot of people already!

• Remarkably good Sandler — for You Don't Mess with the Zohan

  I have seen this movie several times already and can't help it, I just like it! Being half Israeli myself I can recognize certain things from the movie, which are hilariously magnified. It's funny, usually I don't like Adam Sandler at all, but in this movie, he's brilliant.

  It's probably because of the absurdity that it's funny. An absurd storyline mixed with 'true' situations and events and a lot of made up words which just sound right. I think I'll be watching this movie again soon...

• One of the better Tarantino movies — for Jackie Brown

  I really like this movie, it's one of the better Tarantino movies I've seen. Sure, we all like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir dogs, but I personally feel his later movies are rubbish. Perhaps Kill Bill was worth watching, but all the others... no, not for me.

  Jackie Brown on the other hand is one of those underrated movies. A great story, lots of surprising moments and an absolutely fantastic Robert De Niro! His character is so convincing, perhaps it's the main reason I like this movie so much.

  This was a surprising good movie, even though I didn't like the end. Good acting, bizarre storyline and a lot of events in one movie. Excellent!

  This is just one of those movies... The story doesn't make any sense, but the tremendous combination of action and comedy makes this one of my favorite movies of the past few years. I've seen it several times and just can't get enough of it!
