Rock star is film about a young man who is still living with his parents and does nothing more than playing in a Steel Dragon coverband. Steel Dragon happens to be the metal rockband that Chris (Mark Wahlberg) adores. After getting in fight with his own band he gets an offer from the real Steel Dragon, to come do an audition. Soon Chris becomes a part of the band and his life changes to that of rock star. How young Chris handles all this sex, drugs and rock 'n roll is what this movie is about. Co-starring is Jennifer Aniston playing his girlfriend.
The movie itself isn't a high quality movie. But still it's quiet funny seeing Mark Wahlberg sing (or playbacking). I still think this isn't his best period of his career. But i was amused by the film.
So, not the best movie ever made, but also not that worst. IMDB rating is 5.8 I can totally agree on that grade. But if your in a good mood and looking for some laughs i can recommend this one.
