Mrs. Adda Ernst is a middle-aged lady of the bourgeoisie. She has a nice husband Mr. Ernst, a lovely home and two healthy children Birgit and Hans, who like most of their peers are interested in swing. Mrs. Adda is musical herself, and has a beautiful singing voice, sometimes she can fall into melancholy over the career she never had.
Et skud før midnat
The upper-class doctor Peter misses adventure in the everyday drum room. He wants to leave Denmark behind and go on a long trip abroad, although his recently divorced wife, Vera, does not approve of the idea.
Vagabonden
On his journey around the country, Volle has reached Copenhagen with his sharpener's wheelbarrow, where he calls people to the windows with his sharpener's song in a farm on the outskirts of the city. Volle is an old vagabond who loves his freedom more than anything in the world.
