The Hangover: Four guys who celebrate a Bachelors party in Las Vegas. This concept can easily result in a movie full of clichés. But The Hangover surprises with good and funny dialoges, strong characters and nice camera work.

Three of the four guys wake up after the Bachelors party with a massive hangover and can’t find the 'groom'. In the search for their friend the three (Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis) are having difficulties to remember something about the night before. A tiger in the bathroom, baby in the closet, missing tooth are some things that the friends try to explain. Without giving any clues for people that didn’t watch the movie yet: it was a hell-of-a-night!

You could think that all the absurd happenings could result in hackneyed jokes all the time. Actually the most jokes arrive at exactly the right time. After the friends of course find the 'groom' (Justin Bartha) they really need to rush home to make sure the wedding can start. When the wedding comes to an end the friend watch (very drunk) pictures on the digital camera together which ends this great funny movie in style.

Besides the movie itself, the extra's on the dvd are very funny as well. The deleted scenes result in hard laughs, guaranteed!

This movie stems from 1957 and is a black and white movie. Unless the age and absence of special effects or what so ever this thriller keeps you in suspense the whole time even although you can guess the outcome of the jury conference.

The boundary of this movies is the room of a jury that have to decide if an young boy is guilty for killing his father. The jury consists of 12 men of which number 8 (Henry Fonda) was the only one who had doubts about the guilt of the boy. The remainder of the jury is absolutely sure that the boy is the one who killed his father.

The eleven other jury members firstly are annoyed by the attitude of number 8. They thought it was clear and had planned things for the rest of the day. As the movie continues all the facts of evidence are went through more jury members choose the side of number 8. Some proof of evidence is refuted by reconstructing some events.

When you like dialogues and the process an American jury goes through this movie is absolutely a tip. Because of the clue of the movie is already clear when the movie starts I give the movie 7 out of 10 stars.

A Comedy movie with Seth Rogen is in my opinion always funny. In pineapple express Rogen plays a lazy ass (Dale Denton). The only thing he does is smoke pod and hang around with his too young girlfriend.

On one of his typical evenings he buys some pod from his dealer/friend Saul Silver (played by James Franco). Saul has a new and exclusive sort of pod named Pineapple Express. On this evening Dale is whiteness of an underground murder. In a rush Dale left his Pineapple Express joint on the street which makes him and Saul traceable.

Dale rushes to Saul to tell him what he just saw. When they realise that they will be searched for the hit the road to stay away from the criminals who killed a cop. In the flee of the two friends some absurd funny events happen. In the ‘final-scene’ of the movie the friends try to unmask the criminals which end in a very hot shot in the end.

One of the extra’s of the dvd you can find an injury report. This is very funny because you see how hard it is for the actors to play in an action-comedy. I give this movie 8 out of 10 stars because it is very funny but in mine opinion, the ‘final-scene’ takes too long.

The film starts at the point where Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) finds himself in a world where only zombies exist besides him. The zombieland was originated by the fact that the mad-cow disease spread to men.

Columbus tells he is the only survivor because he complies with some rules he stated. One of the rules is rule #1: Cardio. You have to be fit to avoid zombies. After the introduction of some other (some are farfetched) rules Columbus is on his way to travel to Columbus where he hopes to finds his parents.

When Columbus crashed his car he walks over the highway when he meets Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson). This macho-man/cowboy travels eastwards just like Columbus. Because of the obsession for Twinkies they stop at an ‘abandoned’ supermarket. After killing some zombies they meet sisters Wichita and Little Rock. These girls fool around with the two ‘guys’ and steel both their guns and car and drive away.

Not long after the girls have driven away they have a car breakdown. Columbus and Tallahassee found a new car in the meantime. The four reunite and try to avoid zombies. They head to Pacific Playland (the sisters need to go there because it is ‘zombie-free’). The end of the movie is quite predictable but I won’t mention it in the review for people who want to see the movie.

Overall I think it’s an amusing movie. Because there are zombies in the movie it’s tagged as horror but actually it’s more a comedy. Bill Murray plays also a small role in the movie where in a hilarious scene the [Ghost Busters] are parodied. When you know the movie [Shaun of the Dead] you can expect more or less the same concept. Unless this sort of ‘stolen’ concept the movie is funny and not too cliché. In the end the movie deserves a grading of 8 out of 10 points.
