The Last Samurai (2003)

Abstract

Adventure drama starring Tom Cruise as a disillusioned civil war veteran named Captain Nathan Algren. The depressive Algren is reluctantly a misson from the Japanese Emperor to kill a rebellious Samurai. Yet he is so fascinated by the knowledge and life of the Samurai that he cannot go on with his mission.
