What can they have in common: a taciturn keeping away from people huge green ogre and too sociable, talkative, grey donkey? Do not expect a surprise answer: not much or maybe even nothing. So why do they set off together to release an imprisoned princess? It is difficult to show the donkey's motivation but in Shrek's case it is simple: at least a tone of fairy tale characters who show up at his private possession and disturb his peace and quite. The only solution seems to be princess Fiona who is supposed to marry lord Farquaad. Farquaad became the reason for the presence of other fairy tale characters' eviction to Shrek's possession. Obviously the mixture of such protagonists leads to numerous humorous situations. It takes a long time to find the princess and the donkey is very tiring...

It is a fantastic comedy not only for kids but also for adults. It is full of allusions to modern world. We find there excellent animation and honestly it is very realistic. The landscapes draw our attention (they are of course created by the use of computer). We discover there expressive, realistic characters, great animation and 3D graphics. We leave the cinema with only positive and unforgettable impressions.

The film can be recommended for everybody. It is unacceptable in some circles not to know the film or some parts of the dialogue. It is definitely the best possible cinema. It will satisfy all fans of comedy, animation but also those who do not like this kind of film. I have never met anybody who does not like the film.

I have never been a fan of Indiana Jones films. I wondered whether the directors or scenarists are able to surprise me. It turned out that in the last Steven Spielberg 's film I found the elements which had not been present in the series before.

The plot takes us to late 1950s. Radio plays Elvis Presley's songs and the United States believe deeply in the communists' conspiracy. The belief is not groundless as Stalin's people under the leadership of comrade Irina Spalko attack the warehouse in zone number 51 where the discover the Ark of the Covenant and...

The producers however made crass mistakes. They used too explicitly the elements from the previous three films. It is obviously the problem for the viewer who knows the whole series. Those who have not seen the previous Indiana Jones films will not be discouraged by the repetitions.

What is most important is the fact that "The Kingdom of Crystal Scull" has a fast pace, it is not boring, and most of all plays there Harrison Ford who, in spite of being 66, has no double in the film. Even an average role of Shia LaBeouf as a rebellious motor cyclist does not spoil the impression. Additionally we have got fantastic scenery: the pyramid of Nazca, graveyard during a storm, atomic bomb explosion or crater at the end of the film. From visual point of view nothing can be denied.

Summing up the film brings surprising turns of actions and mysteries. We can add thrill of emotion. old characters and new fresh film makers. The question is: will the modern audience like it?

Gotham City is in trouble again. This time the city is terrorized by a cruel psychopathic Two-Face who seems to be obsessed with his desire to destroy Batman. Even worse, the game is joined by a new player - The Riddler who tries to take control over human minds and to reveal Batman's secret.

The third part of Batman was not produced by Tim Burton. He was replaced by Joel Schumacher who had been earlier responsible for "St Elmo's Fire" and "Flatliners". The film was created with the help of completely new staff, for instance, Danny Elfman, who had composed music for previous two parts of Batman was replaced by Elliot Goldenthal.

There were some changes in cast as well. Michael Gough plays in a splendid way Alfred Pennyworth. Val Kilmer plays the role of Batman and Bruce Wayne which seems to be a bit unfortunate choice as the actor is a bit too delicate to play the Night Knight. Chris O'Donell played the roles of Robin and Dick Grayson. To be honest he played quite well the role of a rebellious and fresh Batman's assistant. Nicole Kidman played attractive Dr Chase Meridian, Batman's new love. The best roles however belong to Tommy Lee Jones as brutal Two-Face and Jim Carrey as a brilliant and totally crazy The Riddler.

What can I say? The third part of Batman is good and we avoid yawning while watching it but still it is not the same Burt Batman. Darkness and depression disappeared . Is it good? I do not think so but I will leave it to the audience to decide.

"The Incredible Hulk" the title makes a real fan of comics shiver. When I was going to the cinema I did not know what to expect. I assumed that a new filming might appear a disaster.

Special effects... nothing to criticize here. If you are fond of "the green monster" the moment when Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) changes into Hulk or when Hulk tosses a heavy truck like a ping pong ball does not kill you but you will feel excitement similar to what you feel when you read the comic.

"Green Bruce Banner" is quite a complicated character. On one hand he represents a huge power appearing in the moments of the highest tension. The power of his green muscles desires to destroy everything. On the other hand he is an ambitious scientist who tries to get rid of the curse of gamma rays. There must have appeared Bruce's love - Elizabeth Ross (Liv Tyler) who, as the only one, makes him calm. In fact she is the only person Banner recognizes after his big change, but I am sure you remember it from the comics.

You will find in the film everything that the film of action needs: although the beginning does not suggests it much happens in the film. I can recommend it to all fans of comics but not only. If you look for an action film, huge explosions and destruction the film is for you.

The series of games Resident Evil was originated by the first part which appeared in 1996. The main characters are zombies and the game gained immediately huge popularity. That seemed obvious that it should be soon screened. Firstly, George A. Romero, the 'father' of films with living corpses was supposed to film it but finally it is Paul W.S. Anderson became not only a director but also a scenarist.
The action takes place in underground headquarters of "Umbrella" corporation where suddenly a mysterious virus gets out of control. A special group of commandos is sent to the place. The commandos are under the leadership of Alice, a secret agent who temporarily lost her memory. What they discover is far beyond their imagination. All the workers of "Umbrella" corporation became bloodthirsty living corpses. But that is not everything as there are also rebellious Doberman pinschers and a monster called Licker. And that is the moment when they start fighting for survival...

Music adding to the atmosphere of the film is worth mentioning as it is composed by a controversial musician Marilyn Manson. In my opinion it is the best point of the film (except for two actresses Milla Jovovich and Michelle Rodriguez).
