A beautiful philosophical fable about love and art. of lonely characters that reflect a heavy atmosphere of Iranian culture (Weddings, choice, destiny). A beautiful film in the pursuit of Persepolis. And deeper in another register. You leave the autobiography to dive into the many characters who are authentics, sensitives, full of love but almost unable to feel it and see what's around. This film just upsets me. For those who loved "Amélie from montmartre" (Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" Jean-Pierre Jeunet 2001), we are in the same vein with wonderful plans by Marjane Satrapi, we find the magic of his comics.
A movie to watch. The cast is impressive, a Edouart Baer in the role of the angel of death and Jamel Debouze more affecting than ever ... To discover if you have not already done!
